Feeling Collaborative
Together we are a force. Peter and I collaborate on all aspects of the business but this was the first time we actually handed an object back and forth and trusted each other to complete the vision: to create a sculpture that would serve as a gentle reminder to pause, breathe, and embrace the present moment.
We talked about the unending cycle of life and the circular shape that symbolizes continuity and the interconnectedness of all things. This became Jim's task to create in stoneware.
We then wanted to ground this in nature so naturally we turned to wood where each grain and knot tells a story. Something that could infuse the sculpture with a sense of rustic beauty. This became Peter's task to create in his wood workshop.
