Feeling Confident: Setting up for a Glaze Run

Our assistant Melinda shows us how a typical glaze run is setup for flawless execution in this short video. The entire day will be devoted to glazing these items which typically take between 4-8 coats, depending on the piece and the color.

Everything is logged and meticulously planned for in order to make the best use of our material and effort. Finished results after drying and firing the pieces will yield mirror finishes, transparent color washes, and lava like textures. It's all done with a smile and pride in our work.
