While creating these table lamps we sometimes felt lost. How was the theory we were using, and sometimes ignoring, going to help us? Is The Color Star developed by Johannes Itten a hindrance or a blessing? The short answer is both and the results are stunning. We ascribed color based on theory onto shapes found in our studio and created table lamps in combinations that are vibrant and rich. According To... Table Lamps are emotional and aspirational; subject to the whim of color theory and the desire to reach perfect harmony.
