J SCHATZ INTRODUCES MODERN PENDANT LIGHT COLLECTION
LOS ANGELES, CA — The originals for Di Gomma Pendants were created out of latex rubber. Dripping and scraping the rubber created a texture unique to each pendant. We caste the finished pendants in molds made from the originals using a translucent porcelain clay that glows golden semolina when illuminated. It is reminiscent of the original latex rubber color, hence the name Di Gomma, which is rubber in Italian. The pendants are matte porcelain white when off. Each Di Gomma Pendant has a raw, unglazed exterior with brushed aluminum cover and ceiling vase cap, complete with a 15,000 hour 6.5 watt (500 lumens/60 watt equivalent) led bulb inside. Available in three sizes.
Dimensions, Weight, and Price
Large Di Gomma Pendants are 9” diameter, the weight is 5 pounds and the retail price is $300. Medium Di Gomma Pendants are 7” diameter, the weight is 3 pounds and the retail price is $250. Small Di Gomma Pendants are 5” diameter, the weight is 1 1/2 pounds and the retail price is $200.
