A field of color, in motion.
The JS 158 Aurora Borealis Tableware brings atmosphere to the table—surface alive with shifting color, depth, and light. Inspired by the aurora, each piece carries a layered glaze that moves across the form in soft transitions, revealing subtle variations with every angle and use.
Formed from bright white stoneware and porcelain, the collection balances weight and translucency—plates with a grounded presence, bowls with a lighter, more luminous quality. The glaze activates the surface without overwhelming it, allowing color to emerge as a quiet phenomenon rather than a fixed statement.
Designed for everyday use yet expressive enough to stand alone, each piece holds both function and feeling. No two are identical. Each one records its own moment of making.
